It's always great when a particular pack you love comes up with a second outing and so it's good to see Nina Walsh back in action following her first outing which included Andrew Weatherall - check out the first pack on Loopmasters as well if you missed it.

"Nina Walsh is a renowned composer, performer and producer known for her cutting-edge and experimental approach to music. She began her music journey as a teenager when she decided to learn to play guitar instead of the oboe. She later went on to study Spanish classical guitar for four years before starting to compose her own compositions. Through her career, she has also co-written tracks for several albums and collaborated with many other musicians as well as co-founded and managed two techno record labels ‘Sabres of Paradise’ and Sabrettes".

My personal faves are the synths - an amazing 266 loops await your attention and the basslines are 'knock you back brill' as well.

WELL well well - I hold my hands up to confess I'd NEVER heard of the PHONK genre until DABRO MUSIC unveiled this collection on the LOOPMASTERS site.

Now I've learnt something: "Phonk is a sub-genre of hip hop and trap music directly inspired by 1990s Memphis rap. Mostly present on the SoundCloud platform, the music is characterized by vocals from old Memphis rap tapes and samples from early-1990s hip hop, often combining them with elements of jazz and funk."

Now I'm in the swing of things with this library and you sure get some great inspiration for hooks and fillers with this lot.

With tempos ranging from 90 up to an almost unbelievable 190bpm, this really does open your eyes.
